MEET LINDA ANN ZECK,
THE NEW DIRECTOR OF TODDLERS 'N TOTS
Dear Parents of Children at Toddlers ‘N Tots,
I am very excited to start as the new Director at Toddlers ‘N Tots! I come to you with experience in the educational field. I have a degree as a Teacher of Nursery School and was the Pre-K Teacher at Toddlers ‘N Tots while I attended Glassboro State College. I, also, worked in our summer camp for numerous years. I attended the awesome fieldtrips to Fun Plex, and helped oversee the daily summer camp activities here.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Glassboro State College in May of 1989. I was hired at Birches Elementary School in Washington Twp., where I did my student teaching, before I graduated from college. I taught third grade for 34 years at Birches School. I really enjoyed teaching and loved all my students! Continuing my education, I earned my Master’s Degree from Rowan University in 1996 in Student Personnel Services. I am a certified Guidance Counselor which always comes in handy when working with children.
During my teaching career, I presented at the New Jersey Annual Reading Conference. My teaching strategies were published in a book written by Kathy Ganske entitled: Word Sorts and More which featured spelling and phonic patterns I employed while teaching the students in my classroom. I served on numerous committees at school including the liaison, health, and social studies committees. I wrote the third-grade health and social studies curriculum for the third grade students of Washington Township.
I retired July 1st and come to you with a love of teaching, a love of education, and a love of children! Although I will be overseeing the many facets of the day care, I will be focusing on academics and the well- being of each child in this school. I live with my parents, Ronald, Sr. and Patricia Zeck and have had the benefit of learning about the ins and outs of the school for years and years.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling in the United States, as well as, internationally, singing at church on the praise team, overseeing the children’s ministry, I love animals, especially my spoiled cat, Hannah Lee, and can usually be found with a book in my hand!
Although I have gained an immense amount of knowledge from my mother, Pat Zeck, who has been the director for 40+ years, I truly look forward to a new adventure at Toddlers ‘N Tots! Please don’t hesitate to stop by the office with any questions or concerns. The excellent staff here and I will be happy to work with you to help foster the BEST learning experience for you and your child!

Patricia ZeckList Item 1
Consultant and Co-Owner with husband, Ron Zeck Sr.
Pat graduated from Stelman’s School of Business and also attended Gloucester County College. She continues to take courses throughout the years regarding Early Childhood Education. Pat enjoys all the children from Infants through Super Summer Camp and she is grateful to have a wonderful and loving staff that goes beyound what is required of them.
Pat loves to travel with her husband, Ron. They have traveled internationally and have been to many of the states in the USA. Ron and Pat enjoy going on vacation with their children and grandchildren. As a family, they have traveled to Mexico, Alaska, and many other destinations in the USA, including their favorite family vacations in Ocean City, NJ.
Pat is an active member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Clarksboro, NJ and she serves as chairperson of missions.
Pat enjoys reading, talking with friends and family, singing, dancing, big parties, and the mummers! She is blessed with a very full and satisfying life.

Cindy PiferList Item 2
Assistant Director
Cindy Pifer is our Assistant Director and curriculum specialist and has worked at Toddlers ‘N Tots for the past 25 years. Cindy has a Bachleor’s of Science degree in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She is certified to teach in Delaware and New Jersey. Cindy has taught in both the 2 and 3 year old classes before becoming Assistant Director. Cindy lives in Pedricktown, Salem County and has been a 4-H leader of the Salem County 4-H Foals Hoofbeats for children in grades K-4. She enjoys going to horse events with her daughter Julie, growing flowers and reading.

Joyce SkinnerList Item 3
Secretary
The pleasant and upbeat personality on the phone is Joyce Skinner. Joyce has been employed at Toddlers ‘N Tots for 12 years. Joyce has 34 years of office experience. Her secretarial duties consist of monitoring the telephones, monthly newsletter, udates staff and student information and all medical records. Joyce is also available to work in a classroom when needed and enjoys being with the variuos classes. The children are also excited when Miss Joyce comes in and they greet her with big hugs. Joyce is married to Tom and has a son Andrew, daughter-in-law, Amanda, grandaughter, Delaney, and grandson, Dax. Joyce’s hobbies include cooking, reading, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Joyce has also been the church organist for the past 39 years at the Evangelical United Methodist Church on Cohawkin Road, Clarksboro, NJ.

Our History
Patricia and Ronald Zeck Sr. began the Toddlers 'n Tots Private Preschool tradition in the basement of their home in 1982, with just two children. In 1984, the rancher next door was purchased and turned into the childcare center. In 1994 and in 2005, new additions were added to the childcare center. In 2007, one of the largest state-of-the-art playgrounds with colored safety surfacing was installed. Toddlers 'n Tots Private Preschool has committed itself to providing the best quality academic program in a safe, nurturing environment. Today, the childcare center has grown over the years with many families returning with their children and grandchildren. Pat and Ron’s five grandchildren all graduated from Toddlers 'n Tots Private Preschool. They now have five Great Grandchildren of which attend Toddlers 'n Tots Private Preschool.

The security door features an electronic access “key fob.” Each parent, designated pick-up person, and staff member have an individually recorded “key fob” to enter the building.

Security Cameras and MonitorsList Item 2
Sixteen gigital cameras are monitoring every classroom, the playground, and a full view of the Before and After School supervised bus stop. The afternoon school coordinator rides with the children from the East Greenwich Schools non-stop to Toddlers ‘N Tots.

Each teacher utilizes their class attendance list to ensure all children are present, accounted for, and safe.

We appreciate our East Greenwich Volunteer Fire Fighters and all they to do serve our community.
- Fire Prevention Month: This special annual event is very educational and important. The Fire Company oversees our fire drill procedures inside and outside the building for the safety and well being of all of the children.
- Fire Fighter Hats: The children enjoy wearing their own fire fighter hats and love their fire prevention coloring books donated by the fire fighters.
- Fire Trucks: They take the time to interact with the children and allow them to visit the fire trucks. The children love sitting in the trucks and interacting with the safety equipment.
- Fire Safety and 911: They also educate the children about fire safety and 911 services.

Generac Commercial Generator
Toddlers ‘N Tots’ Generac commercial generator will continue to provide power when a power outage occurs for the safety of the children, staff and parents.
Take a look at our playgrounds including the Pre-K and Explorers playground with color safety surfacing. We also have a rock climbing wall, twisty sliding board, suspension bridge, swings, and tire swings. Terrific Twos and Small Ones will enjoy their own play space too!
Toddlers N' Tots Pavilion
Our pavilion provides a shady environment for our pre-k, preschool, and summer campers to enjoy lunches, crafts, educational entertainment, and fun with their friends.
