Job Description

Teacher: The teacher will supervise daily activities such as: Circle Time, Creative Movement, Crafts, potty training, lunch and snacks, and monitoring the playground.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Taking daily attendance throughout the day.
• Interacting with the children, with songs and clapping.
• Must be able to lift children 35 to 40 pounds.
• Able to sit down and get up off the floor.
• Must be able to interact with children, parents and staff in a friendly enthusiastic manner.
• Establish a good rapport with the children through songs, supervised play time, nursery rhymes, puzzles, and reading stories.

Assistant: The assistant teacher will support the teacher in daily activities such as: Circle Time, Creative Movement, Crafts, diaper changing, lunch and snacks, and monitor indoor and outdoor playtime.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Taking daily attendance throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift children 35 to 40 pounds.
• Able to sit down and get up off the floor.
• Must be able to interact with children, parents and staff in a friendly enthusiastic manner.
• Establish a good rapport with the children through songs, supervised play time, nursery rhymes, puzzles, and reading stories.
  

Requirements:

• 1 year experience in a licensed childcare center
• Must be 18 years of age 
• Valid Driver’s License
