Job Description

Teacher:  The teacher will supervise daily activities such as: Circle Time, Creative Music, Crafts, lunch and snacks, and monitoring the playground.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Taking daily attendance throughout the day.
  • Teaching our academic curriculum, including, science, math, letters, numbers, and phonics.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
  • Interacting with the children, with songs, clapping, and musical instruments.
  • Able to sit down and get up off the floor.
  • Must be able to interact with children, parents and staff in a friendly enthusiastic manner.
  • Establish a good rapport with the children through conversations, supervised time at our learning centers, and reading to the children.

Assistant:   The assistant teacher will support the teacher in daily activities such as: Circle Time, Creative Music, Crafts, lunch and snacks, and monitor indoor and outdoor playtime.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Taking daily attendance throughout the day.
  • Must be able to lift 35 to 40 pounds.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
  • Able to sit down and get up off the floor.
  • Must be able to interact with children, parents and staff in a friendly enthusiastic manner.
  • Establish a good rapport with the children through conversations, supervised time at our learning centers, songs, and helping the children daily.

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience in a licensed childcare center
  • Must be 18 years of age 
  • Valid Driver’s License
