Infants / Small Ones / Toddlers / Tikes / Tots / Pre-Kindergarten

Nursery School Program / Before and After School Fun / Summer Camp

Infants – To Approximately 8 months old

The staff at Toddlers 'N Tots know that your baby needs a safe and clean environment. They show their care by rocking, holding, playing with, singing and talking to your baby. Your infant will have all the tender-loving care and nuturing that is so vital for his or her comfort and contentment.

Small Ones - Approximately 8 months to 1 year old

• Baby's First Moves – for children up to 1 yr. old. This creative program is a positive, nurturing experience, and is designed to provide safe, harmonious surroundings for your small one. We provide an environment that will aid in stimulating body awareness as well as developing motor skills.

Toddlers – 1 to 2 Years

• The Toddler Program is designed with an emphasis on "creative activities," with an introduction to arts & crafts. Developmental activities are introduced, with an emphasis on exploration. With supervision, the children enjoy visiting the various barn animals located at Toddlers 'N Tots. They parade to music with animal-shaped instruments in their make believe marching band. This unique program helps to develop and stimulate physical coordination.

These activities are just one exciting part of the Toddler Program. The programs are carefully balanced to encourage interaction among children, and include activities such as active playtime, table top toys, learning to share, and expanding their imagination with books.

Tikes – 2 to 3 Years

• The Tikes curriculum introduces colors, shapes and numbers. Show and Tell is one of the childrens' favorite activities because it is a time when they can express themselves. Other activities include pasting, coloring, and use of manipulatives. All of these activities help young children to obtain confidence, independence, social skills and motor skills. Self-reliance and independence are always stressed. This age group is introduced to toilet training. The Tikes participate in a Holiday Presentation as well as a Spring Program in June for their families.

Tots / Pre-Kindergarten – 3 to 5 Years

• Our Tots (3 - 4 year olds) / Pre-Kindergaten (4 - 5 year olds) curriculum consists of a full day or half day (see Nursery School Program) and fosters an eagerness for learning as we encourage the necessary skills for primary school, such as cutting, pasting, tracing, writing, social studies, health, safety, language and literature. The individual learning centers include math, reading, science, and computer readiness, helping each child to meet his or her potential and excel at their own individual pace. They also participate in a variety of fun activities, such as the art center, the grocery/housekeeping center, and the dramatic play (dress up) center, where their imaginations have no limits. In addition to the learning centers, the children enjoy lots of fun activities.

Our half day Nursery School Program consists of a full academic curriculum and learning centers similar to the Full day Tots / Pre-Kindergarten programs. The Tots Class (3 year olds) is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the Pre-Kindergarten Class (4 year olds) is held on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. The hours for both classes are 9:00 am to 12 noon. The above programs are held in their own classrooms, separate from the Full day Tots / Pre-Kindergarten Classes. In addition to the learning centers, the children enjoy lots of time for fun activites.

Explorers I - Ages Kindergarten to 2nd Grade
Explorers II - 3rd Grade & Up

Our Before and After Fun is designed for school age children. A supervised bus stop is available for the children to get on and off the local school bus. Arrangements can be made for children that attend other school districts when there are half or full day school closings.

A variety of fun activities and discovery centers are available which include art, board games, game tables and a computer. Quiet time consists of reading and homework. There are also indoor and outdoor activites which are structured and supervised at all times. Creative and seasonal crafts are fun to make and enjoyed by the children on all age levels. Toddlers N' Tots hosts a NEW large playground and a sports field.



Transportation Available!

Special Events

Field Trips are educational as well as fun adventures. Transportation is provided on buses that are equipped with safety belts. Chaperones are always welcomed and appreciated.

Progress reports are issued twice a year and end of semester conferences are available upon request. We encourage parents to keep the lines of communication open.

A Graduation Cermony by the Pre-Kindergarten classes is presented with a special music presentation which includes caps, gowns and diplomas.

Tots Classes (3 year olds) present an international program wearing costumes from around the world.

Tikes Class (2 year olds) perform a variety of songs and fingerplays.

June is a special time for families and friends to attend the above programs at Toddlers 'N Tots!
